"What is done in love is done well." - Vincent Van Gogh
I'm so fortunate my art making has given me the opportunity to think and create with new friends.
Here are some of those friendships & the work that follows.

“collaboration & friendships”
I still feel extremely humbled & thankful that Chuck Sullivan reached out to me to collaborate together for TRADE SCHOOL. We didn’t quite know where we were going or how we were going to pull off our big goals, but we were excited & our hearts were beaming. For the first time in my art career, I was assembled onto a team & really felt the electric vibes of creative collaboration. It was a really special project, what an experience and so many friendships that grew from it.
You can read more about TRADE SCHOOL & the works created through this collaboration in the extended tab under collabs above.

"Spontaneity at it's best."
Was how songwriter & musician Steve Foltz described this project in email shortly after meeting each other. A week before, we were random artists at a bluegrass show exchanging excitements about each others' work. When I glanced over, I knew immediately who Steve & his group of friends standing next to me where. They've only been one of my favorite bands since moving to Colorado in 2012. For the past six years I've been following them around from free first Friday performances at the Battery to the stage of Telluride Bluegrass. Their music has created & reminds me of so many Colorado memories, I just had to go introduce myself & thank them.
A week later, Steve & I were grabbing coffee to share more art thoughts. He explained to me his passion project of song writing with his wife. I listened to the track 'beautiful days' and immediately knew this was something special. My work has been experimenting more and more with this draw to words & messages and these lyrics were just waiting to transform.
I'm so thankful to have gotten to work with & get to know Steve throughout this process. His passion, his words, his art - this project filled me with such inspiration.

ApRIL 2018: 85 for 85 x Drawing from nature
My friend & favorite hut-trip roommate Kami York-Feirn shared this project with me. My imagination immediately starting running wild with the colors and lines the desert create. Every time I go to these wild places, I'm in constant awe for days on end.
The 85 for 85 Project describes itself perfectly; "We are bringing creatives who care deeply about the protection of public lands together to make something for good: a book of 85 collected appreciations, centered on two gems very dear to our hearts - Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments."
With your help, we’ll gather 85 artistic expressions and raise $8,500 to support the fight against the current administration's deplorable move to reduce Bears Ears National Monument by 85% and Grand Staircase-Escalante by 50%.
The book will be available for pre-sale in April.
ONE HUNDRED percent of the proceeds will go toward The Wilderness Society's lawsuit to fight this administration's illegal move.
